Spring has arrived and with it comes renewed energy and enthusiasm for our club projects!  Over the next few months, we look forward to enjoying the fundraising activities planned, the added chances to volunteer within our club, attending the Spring Conference and having a fun Awards Night in May!  Welcome to Soroptimist International of Centre County. Our mission is to improve the lives of women and girls, in our local community and throughout the world.

SICC Signature Fundraiser Coming in Fall 2019 - Soroptimist Golf Classic Tournament

Our club is taking on the charity golf tournament, as a signature fundraiser!  The event committee has decided on a name and logo:  Soroptimist Golf Classic tournament.   Save the date - Sept. 9th, 2019 at the Toftrees Golf Resort. Let your friends and family know - there will be many ways to volunteer and to participate in a fun event!

Fun time: Sip & Paint Night (Cheers to Art)

Great fun for simple fundraising!  No painting talent required!  Come out and join the evening at the Arena, June 19th, starting at 6p. Entry is $15. Get there early to grab a drink and dinner, then get ready for step-by-step painting fun!  Hope to see everyone there - bring a friend!  More details on attached flyer.

SICC Awards NIght

SICC and the Venture Club will hold their annual awards night May 6th, 2019 - it makes all the fundrasing activity so worth it!!!  Awardees will join us for dinner and presentations.  Mark your calendars!

Reception for Visiting Soroptimist From Turkey

A reception was held for a visiting international Soroptimist form Instanbul, Turkey, Dr. Nil Guler -  she is their current president and visiting her daughter (a Professor at Penn State) in the US.  SICC members enjoyed getting to know Dr Guler and her daughter and we exchanged information about our respective clubs.
