Feb 26, 2017SICC Social Gathering - Card Making Party
We are planning an afternoon of card making, led by Betsy Crider of BCreative Stamping. This will be held at the Centre County Waste Authority Community Room (near the Mall on Transfer Road). We will make 4 cards ( one baby card that you can donate if you'd like to the Rowanda Project) and a birthday card,get well card, and anniversary card. The cost is $12. All the materials are provided except a glue stick.
Bring a snack to share with everyone and enjoy a fun and creative afternoon.

A reception was held for a visiting international Soroptimist form Instanbul, Turkey, Dr. Nil Guler - she is their current president and visiting her daughter (a Professor at Penn State) in the US. SICC members enjoyed getting to know Dr Guler and her daughter and we exchanged information about our respective clubs.
Our club raised over $600 for the service budget with the efforts selling poinsettias in the ocommunity! Way to go!

With the hard work of both SICC members and the Venture Club members, this night was a big success!! Thanks to all!! Our beneficiary, The Safety Net program of the Child Development & Family Council will receive a big check and will be able to continue to do the good work in the community!
